Make Your Website Pay For Its Keep
There are plenty of free web sites available - but they all tend to include advertising for the host. They also tend to be subdomains or have massively long URLs. There's nothing that shouts amateur more loudly than visiting one of these sites.

Think about it - this guy is going to show you how to make a million dollars/pounds/ningies and he's using a free web site. Doesn't make sense - right?

However, you can get a professional looking website that doesn't cost you a penny. You just need to make your site earn its keep.

In all probability you are selling something on your site, whether it be a product or a service. If you convert enough sales then your site will pay for itself. However, even if you don't make a sale you can still get paid for advertising on your site.

You could approach people and offer to sell them space on your site - but that's likely to be a time consuming process. One of the easiest ways to monetise your web presence today is by hosting ads for Google. This cuts out the process of touting for business with advertisers and you can be sure that Google always pay on time.

Some people make a great income just from this one activity alone. It's free to sign up for Google Adsense - you can do it just by clicking on the button in the right hand margin. You'll be up and running in a few daysand, once you've pasted your Adsense code into your site it's completely automatic. You don't need to do anything else - just keep sending visitors to your site and check how much money you have in your google account from time to time.
